Pre-Nuptial Agreements

Pre-Nuptial Agreements

A Pre-Nuptial Agreement, also known as an Ante-nuptial Agreement or “”Pre-nup”  is a contract between two people, prior to entering into a marriage, which can provide for the future division of assets, the protection of separate property, the protection of a business and future spousal support, as well as numerous terms and provisions specifically tailored to the parties’ needs should the couple separate or divorce in the future.

A Pre-Nuptial Agreement can protect assets and provide for certainty in regard to issues which arise should a marriage end in divorce.

Pre-Nuptial Agreements can protect businesses, inheritances, separate property and decrease the chances that one day there will be a contested divorce.
